We would like you to invite you to participate in
South Texas farm tractor history,
join the
4th Annual Old Iron Trail Ride
in Medina County, Texas.
SATURDAY, May 16,
2009
The
Trail Ride will start at the Tractor
City (John Deere), 133 U.S. Hwy. 90 W,
2 miles East of Castroville, Texas at 9:00 a.m. After a lunch break at
Sammy's Restaurant in Castroville the ride will continue ending back at Tractor
City.

Any
tractor, without lug wheels or a/c, made before 1970 and
can
run at least 10 mph is eligible to participate on the trail ride.
Each
tractor must have a Slow Moving Vehicle sign on the back.

Anyone with an old farm car or truck
is welcome to join us.
You can also tow an old farm trailer or equipment if you would like.
All these vehicles were a valued part of farm history!

Children
16 and younger can only drive a vehicle with a parental consent form signed
and a parent or guardian on a tractor behind them!
NO
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED ON THIS RIDE!
But you can bring your own water, soft drinks, food, etc.
A registration donation is $15 asked for each tractor or
vehicle which
includes lunch for the driver.
Anyone
not driving a tractor or vehicle, but participating in the ride will be charged $10 for
lunch.

and your donation is tax deductible!

Late
registration and line up will take place at 7 a.m. before the trail ride at
Hondo Livestock Auction area, Hondo Airbase.
If you would like to bring your tractor or vehicle out to the starting point on Friday,
please call 830-741-8922.
There
is plenty of room to park your truck and trailer and leave it during the trail
ride.
