We would like you to invite you to participate in
South Texas farm tractor history,
join the
2nd Annual Old Iron Trail Ride
in Medina County, Texas.
SATURDAY, May 19,
2007
The
Trail Ride will start at Morales Feed & Supply in Devine, Texas at 8 a.m.,
go to Moore,
Bigfoot (with a
stop at the Bigfoot Museum) and back to the
Devine Community Center for lunch and viewing of the entries..
After lunch the ride goes to Natalia and back to
Morales Feed & Supply in Devine.
There will be two rest stops before lunch and two on the final leg of the ride.
Any
tractor, without lug wheels or a/c, made before 1970 and
can
run at least 10 mph is eligible to participate on the trail ride.
Each
tractor must have a Slow Moving Vehicle sign on the back.
Also
this year we are inviting anyone with an old farm car or truck to join us.
These vehicles were a valued part of farm history!
Children
16 and younger can only drive a vehicle with a parental consent form signed
and a parent or guardian on a tractor behind them!
NO
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED ON THIS RIDE!
But you can bring your own water, soft drinks, food, etc.
A registration donation is $15 asked for each tractor or
vehicle which
includes lunch for the driver.
Anyone
not driving a tractor or vehicle, but participating in the ride will be charged $10 for
lunch.
ALL moneys made from this ride will
be donated to
Late
registration and line up will take place at 7 a.m. before the trail ride at
Morales Feed & Supply, 1324 FM 173, Devine, Texas
If you would like to bring your tractor or vehicle out to the starting point on Friday, please call 830-741-8922.
There
is plenty of room to park your truck and trailer and leave it during the trail
ride.
